got on it a bit on the way home, felt great pulls harder (to me) on 9psi then it did before on 12, maybe tomorrow i can do a virtual dyno where i used to do them all the time since i'll be in that area.

not yet mang, not still nemu lets me ditch my maf and im on a map sensor.. not gonna waste my cash lol.. plus i got more goodies going on all the time, when the cars ready she'll get dyno time

on to other things, spent the day die grinding (again) LOL.. but i finally put my xcessive thermal spacers on

there was a good size step where the plenum meets the runners, i didnt like that.. also when i put the thermal gasket on there was alot of room to go up in size on both sides.. so i port matched the runners and gasket the best i could to the gasket.

much better

the runners are so thin i didnt wanna go hog wild on them, but i cleaned them up a tad, atleast as far as the die grinder would fit in there lol.. i also got rid of some casting marks an shit.

i didnt mess with the runners much, basically just port matched where they meet the plenum.. the thermal gasket that goes between manifold and head fit both nearly perfect so i just left that stuff.. thats a whole other can of worms.. also you can see how theres only a slight ledge now, i could have done further but didnt wanna risk it.. maybe next time lol.

heres runners to head.

the main reason for taking the manifold off.. no the thermal spacers were not it! haha!

1 fitting for map sensor, the other i'll probably hook the bov to.. this way everything will have its own source, bov, boost gauge, fpr, map sensor ect..

by the time i was done i didnt feel like checking the plugs, im sure they are doing ok, cars running like a beast.. although i developed a sight coolant leak (probably one of my turbo feed lines from under the intake) since i had to move some shit around.. also a weird fucking rattle vibration.. think that might be exhaust tho from rally styling it up my friends driveway haha..

put them ports to some good use, the map isn't wired up yet, but atleast everythings got its own port and there are no more T's lol

I would mount the MAP sensor further away from the manifold (heat). I had mine mounted on the manifold and after a few weeks the nipple on the MAP sensor crumbled while I was trying to remove the hose.

ah good to know, guess i'll need more hose then lol.. odd tho since what i seen at the junk yard alot of em are mounted right to the intake or near by.. i noticed right away my intake no longer gets scorching hot after driving lol.. well so far atleast..

now if i can just find this pesky load/rpm dependent vibration.. it just started yesterday after doing the intake.. no idea what it could be i've gone over everything short of taking the intake back off..

Junk yard ones are OEM, this is aftermarket with kind of cheap plastic (in my opinion). If you get an OEM sensor I think it can handle the heat better. I tried to see if Omni would sell me a new case, they wont. Thus I will jbweld a nipple back onto mine...
