Sure, but bandaids are cheap and they only hurt for a second when you pull them off!

Even a three dollar roll of muffler tape would help with heat soak a bit.

P.S. I like the hardware store MacGyver stuff. I might be willing to admit that back in the day (years ago) I may have had a hardware store PVC ram-air intake system stuck out of the side of my B15 bumper. Complete with plastic scoop! It sounded great in tunnels!

so i went out an tried to use the hose i was using to recirc before but its way way to short as i figured it would be.. when i get the chance i'll goto the part store an see if i can get a radiator hose long enough to do the job but my first priority is to finish paying keo for the fpr so he can ship it to me

i've driven the car a few times since doing this an man it really does run so much better.. i should have listened lol.. an so far the clear hose hasn't melted or changed in any way since i put it on but again, i'll be keeping my eye on it!

well so far so good the hose is holding up fine.. car is running much better.

I am going to be taking the manifold off soon to tap it for another vac source for the map sensor and I figured I'd toss these guys in while im at it. I also might do some port matching while I'm in there, but we'll see.
