where did your stock cams like bein activated on the t28?

From what I remember at 5ish. Lost power below that. Your setup will be different, disable VVL, do one run and plot it into virtual dyno. Then enable high cams at very low RPM, do a run, plot it into virtual dyno and overlay the graphs. Where you see the low cams start loosing power over high cams is where you should activate.

With this my activation is seamless, you don't know that there is even vtak magic going on (Turbo, NA is gonna be loud there is no saving grace).

But here is where you can get very granular with it, I have my vvl kick on above 160*F, and above 50% throttle (highway driving no need vvl) and above 35 mph. Last one is the fun one, I don't enable VVL for first gear that way I have traction in first gear until redline . On VET cams low cams make 200whp/200wtq, but with high cam it makes ~240whp, 40 less hp helps a good bit with traction.

I forgot if I read this somewhere or if it was someone else, are you running nemu as well Vad?

Coming along very nicely. Good job man. Im really liking the Nismotronic/Tunercode stuff. I wish this stuff was out when I had my had my other simple setups. Would have made things soo much easier, like having a launch control and so on and on the fly tuning.

Its almost like having a full standalone. Great stuff. JK really did a great job getting all of this together. Im sure ill be using this stuff on another car down the road.

My plan is to run a low wastegate spring like 3psi or something and electronic boost control/boost by gear, then I'll just run like 5-7psi in 1st, 12 in 2nd at like 15 in 3rd an 4th.. or whatever..

I got two Nemu's actually, one in the P11 one in the B15. After tuning with one, there is no way I can go back to anything OEM, I would have to switch to a full standalone.

Plus the software alone makes it worth it, I used ECUTalk, NissanDataScan, TunerPro, none of them match up. Being able to datalog just about any wideband and plot it against RPM/TP 16x16 table is the best feature in tuning. Basically before I had to stare at the gauge while driving and guess where to add fuel

I can't wait to get it. Although I admire Josh's approach to soldering the board on himself I think I'm just gonna send my ECU in and let John take care of it haha

In all fairness, I was using nistune for almost 3 years, and i was able to log afr from my wideband without any issues.

But ya, nemu ftw! lol

Well he already had the 40 pin harness soldered on, all he had to do is solder 3 consult wires. I did all 40, first desoldered, then soldered, not fun in my book, this is why the second ECU I had John solder

Nistune was only software that good do proper AFR logging and map trace, but that's if you have $200 to shell out.
