lol, buy me a Gopro cam and some gas and I'll be a video making fool!

You really need to sit and read bro, or at least just get out there an start wrenching.. your car will be sweet just take your time an don't rush, do it right! That's what I do, I sit an read till my brain hurts and then I go give it a try, or if it looks easy enough I just do it. My car has taught me a lot in our time together, there isn't anything I'd be afraid to do my self.

Your right man it's all on me I know Most of it is simple the only thing I'm a little worried about is the head gasket I got all the parts I think I need, I'm just so busy with work and projects (not related to my cars ) that I'm working on.

I think the coilovers on my B14 are blown, their squeaking like crazy, I am going to take my UR pulley's off and throw the VE one's off on my day off tomorrow along with new drive belts, after that I need to do tie rod ends and get an alignment done then the B14 should be good to go, then I can paint the hood and fender (I have the primer and KH3 for that) even though I want the whole thing white

I'm making a to do list for the B13, getting the intercooler to fit and to mount the water pump is gong to be hard, the heat exchanger couples right on to the throttle body so I don't know where I can run a blow through maf in the future since I'd like to run an atmospheric bov, I'm gonna be running the stock w10 diverter valve with a recirc line for now. I'll post all that progress as well as all the information that I need on my thread for that. After the car is running it'll be time for upgrades

You have a nemu ecu now lynch?

Like to hear it

I was gonna sell my B13 Stock ECU because I have an avenir ECU so I thought I could have the daughter board installed on that but John said the Stock SE-R ECU has a lot more features to play with and is a lot better of an ECU to tune with so I'm gonna send mine in when I get a VE head, injectors, turbo, etc.

OK, new game plan:

VET pistons
Eagle rods
ACL bearings
VET gasket

But i want to get a another bottom end to build up so i have as little of down time as possible, so if i cant find what i want cheap enough i might have to buy a whole engine an part out the top end. if my budgets short i might skip the rods an run stock ones for now until i can build a REAL engine later down the road.

We'll see how everything goes the next few months, if it goes like i hope i will have a sweet little engine to throw 20psi at

Oh and Nemu's in the works!

Hey Lynch I have a bare det block if you want it, shoot me a pm. And you don't eagle rods, just use det rods with acl's and you'll be good with the vet pistons. And give it hell.

If you are going to go with rods, and the price VET pistons are going for, why not just spend slightly extra and get a set of pistons to go with those rods?? Talk to @ashtonsser about getting a deal from his guy!

P.S Does any know if the VET piston ringlands are any stronger than the stock VE??

I know they're much bigger, I have brand new vet pistons that I bought from greg. Pistons and rods are at least 650+ he can spend less than 400 bucks and have a bottom end that with water meth can push over 550 whp. I think cost over weight the fully built option. I love oem shit anyways so thats just me. I doing an oem build with the exception of the bearings, but other than that im going to use all oem parts to turbo the ve.
