If I find my self constantly hitting the rev limiter in 2nd an 3rd gear should I raise it? the car pulls extremely well to 7500, but then I hit a wall that I dont think should be there so soon.

Also I noticed if I listen I can hear the cams pop and I can also feel it. While its a smooth transfer like I had it when it was n/a I can still feel the power increase, which is good.

lol nope, but put that "HKS" bov on an i can tell a difference for sure.. i dont think that other one was holding the boost right or something.. drive ability is better even..

i really need to find the time to make a few runs an log them to see what kind of gain vs the first logs

The OEM bov that I used would open at 7 psi if it didn't have positive pressure forcing it closed (I was using an oem bov and housing because of fittings, but had a separate bov). Though in your case your old BOV just had a weak spring probably.

ding ding ding!

like i said i was using the smaller spring in the "greddy" bov because with 2 springs it wasn't working right, i should have tried just the larger spring but was lazy and after alot of reading decided to go with something different because it seems to be a common issue with the greddys an the knockoffs.

i do believe i can now rip the tires loose in 2nd just after vvl hits, i was goin up an on ramp today an im fairly cetain it happend, rpms stuck at about 6500 for a few seconds an then resumed climbing, also the torque steer has increased quite a bit.

over all the "hks" bov is much better compared to the "greddy" bov the way i had it set.

lastly, boost comes on quicker and stronger an sounds more throaty and as i mentioned, the tq steer increased quite a bit.

i think the "hks" unit looks better in the bay..
