What do u need a flex tube for?

I have two that came from the factory...confused?
Between you and the center console theres a perfect spot. And if you open the lid to the center console, you have another one. Perfect for a 32oz Chick-fil-A cup

to finish making the downpipe, i already got the flange welded on the the rear piece you sent me just need a flex pipe to connect it to the front half of the downpipe. i have one picked out already just kinda broke since the holidays
