Nah it wont damage the block, only damages the oil filter housing, which is a pain to replace with engine in the car!

I don't get why you are so set on saying the brass one is such a horrible idea....


Anyways even if it is brass you're fine, so many people have ran brass thread converters/tee fittings and have not had issues including me.

You shouldnt be running a sender right off the block anyways, the vibrations are known to kill pressure senders and the weight of lines, really? Brass is metal not styrofoam...

oh shit maybe it is brass.. i searched my ass off an the site that linked me to summit said it was a zinc coated steel fitting.. guess i should of looked harder..

couple more items came in from apt.

silicone oil drain hose, oil drain fitting, 3" exhaust flange and 2.75" clamp




pretty sure once i get the stuff from keo which should be by next week i'll have everything i need
