BP isn't a bad fuel. Then again, I'm no longer selective in where I get my fuel and my turbo car doesn't give me any issues?

Boost leak could be a good reason. If couplers aren't secured properly, they can start to leak over time. Boost/Vacuum gauge is a requirement, not an accessory. You can't troubleshoot a car easily without one.

Probably just the humidity. It really makes a noticeable difference in power. I like driving in winter cuz the car spins the tires like it has 100whp more than it actually does lol.

could also be due to cold roads/tires...

A friend of mine who had a 2002 Subaru Impreza RS hatch, filled up with cheap gas, Sheetz and Hess if I recall correctly, he said his car sounded like it was knocking, drove poorly, and got bad gas mileage. As soon as he filled up with a better companies gas his car was just fine.

Cheap gas is cheap gas no matter which car you put it in. His local BP has was $.15 cheap, sounds like they added snake oil to the mix. Our local Hess likes to do that, I drive by it chuckling at the massive lines and people thinking they are getting deals of their lifetimes.

ok just got off work and i have no time to install my gauges tomorow is a hectic day for me and saturday is my godsons birthday so sunday it is.

i was worried all day took the car for a spin and its just about normal i think its a mixture of the weather and the gas ill just pay the extra and keep filling with shell. i cant wait to put the boost and oil pressure gauge so i know its fine.

thanks everyone for the help lol ever since i went boosr im a freak and stay paranoid i was going to tune it at 12psi its at 7 now what do you guys think its stock internals will it hold saftly?

Why so much hate for BP?

BP is the only place I know of(at least where I live) to get 93 octane! And I doubt 93 octane BP is worse than 91 octane of something else. Science is used to figure out octane ratings..can't really argue w/science.
