So, how would one go about clocking the turbo? I have a W10 turbo and the previous owner cut out a little bit of crossmember so the j-pipe can fit.

I'll take a pic as soon as i can.

Here is one way

I'm using bluebird wastegate parts so some of that in the above may be useful with different brackets. I soaked that snap ring in a puddle of PB blaster for like a week (off the car). Then tapped it with a screwdriver and hammer to break it loose and spin it in place. Then installed one the car (wastegate disconnected) tapped it with a rubber mallet until it spun around where I wanted it. If it doesn't spin freely it might be better to do it off the car ie less stress on manifold and studs n'stuff

oh and if you want to buy giant snap ring pliers I think its part# 517 http://www.wildetool.com/index.cfm
