I did find some people in mexico who make tubular manifold for FWD SR20DET.

I dont know how serious these people are. Their name is GcTech and what they told me is that the manifold costs about $650.00 (9000 pesos)

I havenĀ“t got one yet, but here is some information in case some of you guys want to give it a try.

The Email address which I was contacting them with: gctech.motorsports@gmail.com

They also have a facebook... GCTECH

This is the pic of the manifold that they send me:

Just a question......What is a good price? There are plenty of well reputable places that build nice manifolds. You pay for what you get though. What your asking is can I get a awesome 100% stainless amazing welded manifold, for cheap.

The simple answer is no. You want a nice custom EQ mani with stainless flanges, well designed to fit your application than just pay for it. What drives down the cost is volume, but that does not work for us sr20 guys. Custom one off applications take time and since they are not always getting jigged up after they are built it is just time spent that you are paying for.

Just ranting a bit, cause there are to many times guys complain about pricing on manifolds, exhaust or intake.

Good luck with GC though!

Not to stir up anything, but if we are throwing in our 2 cents, I'll raise the pot to 4 cents now.

Sniper, you make a great point. You get what you pay for, if someone is investing their time and skill into building a manifold, absolutely they should be justly compensated for their effort. What I don't understand, and I've seen it happen on more than one occasion:

Guy #1 orders a custom application manifold from Guy #2, and pays a lot for it (as he should). Guy #2 puts his skill, time and effort into research and fabrication, and charges justly for it.

Then, the manifold proves to be better than anything else available. Guy #1 posts about his build and suddenly Joe, John, Justin and James all want a similar manifold for their builds too.

Suddenly Guy #2 has a market and a small customer base. He decides to copy the original design without any modifications to it and sell it to everyone else too. Only problem is, he's selling it for near what he charged Guy #1. At this point Guy #2 is doing nothing more than cutting pipes and welding to a pre-specified plan. A copy of a great manifold. No research, no custom application pieces, but is being sold just as if it were.

Again, not trying to stir up trouble or get anyone riled, I just don't get that scenario and like I said, I've seen it happen on more than one occasion. You get what you pay for, but at least the price should match the effort and quality of parts involved.

To OP, that is great find at a reasonable price too!

Why should guy #1 pay more for the same manifold as the other guys after him. After all, had not for him there would be no manifold. Just adding a few more cents. .

So what your actually say translates into this. Lets find a sucker with a top notch quality product and go to the fabricator (and because after the first one is done then he copies it) you have to pay less tha the first sucker!!!
Lets see if you would like that if this was your job actually, i dont think so!
Or even if you were the very first guy and then you see tha the product sells for cheaper then yeah you would at least feel like a sucker!

People tunning is hobby and as all hobies if you want to be at the very front you have to pay for it if you cant or dont want then you can settle for less but also pay les.
As in all hobies you have to pay to play.
