Thread: vet build might need help

ok guy Iv been looking around for ideas and i cant find much to help me so i thought Id ask.
I have a sr20ve that I want to turbo and its apart because of a bad rod bearing. what i was thinking of doing it getting det rods and vet pistons but then i thought det rod would be the week point so I looked up rods then i thought about the pistons being another week point but what do you guys think? aftermarket rods on stock vet pistons? can it hold 500hp with out folding under pressure? I dont no if Ill run that much but i want to beable to turn it up if I want and it will stay together. any info you guys have will be appreciated.

DET rods and pistons are good for 500whp+, as long as the tune is good.

No guy, Det internals are fine, u can get a set for cheap. Pm for the fogs if ya still interested

If your shooting for 500whp change the rods, I would do pistons too but the rods are cheaper.
