Thread: Precision Entry Level Turbo's

Hi Guys,

Since my 2871 .86 blew its oil seal its time for something different.
I'm basicly looking for a tad better spoolup (~<4000 full boost) and 400whp area at decent boost (1-1.5 bar).

Since a bit on a budget i was wondering how the entry level turbo's perform and if anyone had experience with these onces?

For example the 5252E seems fine for the easy 400whp but what about spoolup? A lot of people here seems to run 60-1/6061 ish kinda turbo's but they seems to laggy for me.

Of course there's the 5857 CAE billet one, but thats some extra $ and no idea about spool.

So share your knowledge here please

your turbine seals went? get a new one they're cheap.

Well, I think so honestly. Only big blue smoke when hitting it and more than normal up/down and in/out play. And more than normal metal spinning noise.
