But I know from local experience that the stock 2.0 cams with the H22 springs with stock retainers may throw shims if revved over 8500rpm. Needs a bit of a stiffer spring.

I read that the n1 springs are softer for the higher lift.
If the H22 uprated springs are enough for the 9000rpm with the sr16ve cams - why do I have to make excessive load to the valvetrain?
or I repeat : the stiffer = safer and more efficient, no tower leaks?
