If I can't get my hands on a Disco Potato for like $700 I'll probably get something a little bigger and hopefully BB

that's a baby turbo compared to what n1 cams would need..

I look at it from a spec viewpoint.

Stock VE cams have 48* of overlap. Not good for boosted applications. While most turbo guys run them they are less than par.

VET cams would be the best bet for small turbo applications but good luck finding a set

SR16 and SR16n1 cams are great for big turbo applications w/ large good flowing turbine housings, tubular manifolds and large free flowing exhaust.

Cam Overlap Thread

Stock VE cams have 48* of overlap on high lobes
SR16VE cams have 70* of overlap on high lobes
SR16EV N1 cams have 74* of overlap on high lobes
20V cams have 57* of overlap on high lobes
VET Cams have 13* of overlap on high intake and low exhaust lobes

I personally checked and verified everything bug 20v cams (can't find the FSM spec sheet and don't want to spend hours reading Japanese).

N1 cams should perform similarly to 16VE cams on smaller (T3 and under turbos). I want to run 16VE or N1's on my smaller turbo build, due to 8k rpm revving ability though

No problem man, there are too many numbers for all of these. I've started following/updating the cam thread after my ve + log adventure

Um, as long as you're using proper de/DET rods and RWD DET head it should be....drumroll please...9:1! This isn't taken into account shaving the had or block, but you're not viewing either so, just assuming that you're slapping the pistons in and not getting any machine work done.
