Ok sweet, I'll run my setup with the stock VE cams then install the N1's. Would anyone know what anticipated peak stable boost would be at with an avenir block (stock DET internals) with a VE head? I would be using the Avenir 370cc injectors at first so I know I wouldn't get much out of them without fuel cut but I see a lot of people using the 520cc STI injectors? I'd like to see how much I could get on the 370's stable and then with bigger injectors, my main concern would be keeping the internals safe after I replace the injectors. 20psi would be awesome

you know what they say when people assume...

That "assume" makes me a little uneasy so I may have to do a little more research before I get the N1's in but I don't even have the motor or head yet so needless to say, I have some time :P

LOL, by no means would I ever suggest someone run out and try it based on this statement, I was simply offering an observation I noticed about the two pistons. If searching info doesn't turn up any results, and all else fails, put the cams in a clay the engine to verify yourself before running it.

As far as what psi you are expecting to run and power levels... it all depends on your tune. You can run stock VE internals safely to 500 + hp with a dead on tune and ecu. There is a thread in here about injector sizes based on HP capable, look for that

My attempts at trying to explain how much I've been searching on this particular topic in hopes of having everyone understand I'm not looking to be spoon fed information would be futile, I only post when I know I can contribute to a thread or need information that I can't find elsewhere. My apologies for wasting your guys' time :o

Here it is, found it in the How To's section.
Thanks to Andreas Miko!

Looks like the stock sr20det 370 injectors would be good for 250 whp or 290 whp if you bump up the fuel pressure. With supporting mods of course.

That link will come in handy in the near future thanks! I have yet to get a confirmation on whether or not N1 cams will clear DET pistons... I'm leaning towards thinking they do but have no way to tell as I don't have the head or the block yet :-\
