now a local here has a DET with GT37R and ebay mani in his rwd datsun and it works really well for a DET setup and its Streetable, it made around 520hp on 20 psi and 10.5 ET with traction problems, car is smaller than a 1200 IMO, So im liking the 6765 for my setup because Im VE, with headwork, 16ve cams, going with mazworx top mount manifold.

The 6765 compressor wheel is 67mm inducer vs the gt37 63.5mm yes , so there is extra Fin material to affect spool BUTwhat about Precision having Billet Wheel, they did say

Advantages of PTE’s CEA Compressor Wheels:
• Greater efficiency
• Faster transient response (less turbo lag) <<<
• Capable of handling higher boost pressure
• Weigh less than similarly sized traditional cast wheels <<<
• Result in lower temperatures than conventional wheels

This is whats amazing bout this Peice for the dudes that wants it bigger than the 6262. Thats why id say it might be closer response wise to a GT37R but make power like a 4094. Hmmmmmm

Give it a try. If you don't like it I'm sure somebody will buy it.

Don't go with the Precision turbo because clearly it's bad. That's what the story is saying. Would it stop me for buying a 6262? no.

I love my 6262. No problems and it's not ball bearing.

6262 journal bearing is def a turbo i would run again and crank the boost. for a big turbo it spools up very nicely and it does its job damn good.

Well I will tell you this is a artical that is leaning really far to the Garret side ...sop far in fact they say the PTE wheel is downscaled version of the GTX wheel ...well when PTE came out with their billet wheel Garrett was out the on there website saying there were no benifits to having a billet wheel and they were talking down the tech ( this was quite a while before GTX ) no they are on the band wagon ....I dont think this artical was near unbiased
your thoughts?

It is there anytime you are above 3.5/4K rpm and by 5 it is spinning the tires this turbo rocks ( and most people that have one will say the same )
