Okay so the car ran Last Weekend at the tracks with Two 24x8.5x15'' slicks to the Front and two 225 ,50,15 Toyo Proxes RA1'S to the back , unfortunately there was a said fuel pump problem and the confused owner raised the fuel pressure to almost 40 psi and even added Race fuel for his own reason , not sure if they secretly tried to raise boost but they said no , The fuel pressure supposed to be around 24-27 psi when running 21psi of boost and it works excellent. Didnt dyno yet either , JWT 95 Octane 700hp ECU with 30 x 4 Direct port NOS and Water Meth

Might or might not make it to the event today

heres footage from last week

What fuel is being used? Why only 24psi fuel pressure?

95 octane pump , its the 700hp jwt ecu with 1000cc's injectors thats why, needs very little fuel pressure it seems , anything past 30psi fuel is to much, dont know why he added race gas for but its working fine now as they set it back the way it was. Heading to the tracks today as long as weather is fine.

That does not make much sense.

JWT's race program is done for 3 bar fuel pressure (36 psi base) as most low imp 1000cc injectors run like crap at anything above that.

Having to run 10psi lower fuel pressure means there is something wrong with the setup.

Given the temp/condition difference between JWT in California and where you are on the islands, I think it's time to stop messing around and get a tunable Ecu before you blow that car to pieces.

Yeah thats a low psi for sure. should be 43psi vac line off the regulator, 36-38 depending on vac strength. Seems like your compensating for something else having to turn down the pressure that low. I know I did this initially with my 60 trim t3, calum 740cc, 3bar z32 program. Ran rich as hell with the vac line connected to the regulator where it would raise fuel pressure during boost, pig rich. So i disconnected it and got a fairly good a/f across the board. Come to find out later the o-ring on my 50mm bov was not seated properly and had a massive boost leak causing the entire issue. Fixed that and did a pull and it started to go lean so o put the vac line back on the regulator and whalla, perfectly solid a/f across the board. 11.3-11.5:1, never felt soo good.

Id check for boost leaks for sure, the jwt setup should run pretty good set at what they recommend for fuel pressure as long as everything else is in line.

Adding nitrous and meth injection to the mix doesn't help this program either.

I know I preach about it all the time but maybe by the 100th time of saying it, someone will listen.

Very true, you really cant beat a tunable ecu especially at higher hp levels. Chipped ecus are good if you follow exactly what its programmed for. Meaning Gas, I never had issues running race gas on my chipped ecus, mainly did it for insurance than anything. I didnt have other issues like high backpressures or any of that that can hinder how well the program works. They are good for efficient setups on gasoline. When you start throwing other fuels and meth into the mix, you really need a tuneable ecu or your asking for problems and/or compensating for other issues.

I could not have said it any better.

Your so wrong, JWT can do anything if you just play with the FRP and distributor.
