+1 go STI injectors or 740's. The JWT STI inj 4 bar Z32 MAF tune is pretty good now. I recently got a retune from them because the car was running too rich and injectors were maxing out too soon and they fixed the tune by lowering the injector latency.

I've been using my 150k mile B14 tranny for almost a 1.5 years on my DET without issues. I know others who have used a stock b14 tranny on 350whp setups for over 4 years. I think it has a lot to do w/how people drive and what clutch they use, but of course the B15/P11 is stronger. These B14 transmissions were never designed to hold 300+whp, even the P11/B15 ones. Probably the #1 thing I hate about the platform, next to it being FWD

B15 or P11. P11 has longer 4th and 5th gears so better for MPG's.

You are looking at around $1k for non-lsd one.

is it really worth it to put one in?
or is there ways to upgrade our tranny?

Look up some of the tips on MotoIQ.com. Main problem (on B13/B14/P10 trans) is the case flexing, next is the gears.

I'm liking the idea of the Ve+T a lot. Cost wise it jsut make so much sense.

How much boost can it run safely all day long? 7psi? 14psi? more? Thinking of either a GT28R turbo, or a original VET turbo or alternatively a t3/t4 with 0.48 housing.

And what's the verdict on the OEM VET manifold?

Any of these motors can spin a bearing. Its just less likely with a motor that hasnt seen boost and hasnt been abused and its newer.

The answer to this really depends on your wallet though. Cause both will make stupid power. The DE will be cheaper to do it on though.

^I noticed this as well. I'm glad I purchased mine when I did.

Not sure if it's worth the price tag...

ah hmm all this talk is making want to only go with an avenir det
I've tried looking up some thread that sorta explained air to fuel ratio's but didn't really found what I was looking for.
so my question is, how bug of injectors would I have to buy to boost 12 punds on the DET motor with a t25? or can I do it with the stock injectors?

Another question is how much of a difference does it make to have a FMIC I know it helps in all to cool down the air but can't I just get a hood scoop that's directly over the top mount?

also I've heard people having problems with having blowoff valves on their DET's that it shut offs at random times?
