Im going to have a crack at it in my race car, Probably only first gear as i still use second quite a bit. But in theory its a good idea

I've been using a Apexi AVC-R for a few years with the boost by gear option to limit the power in 1st & 2nd gear and it's been awesome for traction purposes. Before I would toast 1st and 2nd gear (often 3rd if I was trying) but now she launches pretty awesome. Short story: it works nicely in my experiance.

Ask Serban how he likes it in the Mazdaspeed 3. Or any turbo Cobalt owner. Or the Caliber SRT-4 guys. Focus RS too.

lol I'm assuming these cars automatically reduce boost in lower gears? Well, if engineers did it for FWD cars than there's some reason and sense behind it.

greddy profec b worked great in my boosted b13. had the little button you put on your steering wheel to change from low boost to high boost.

Ya, I actually have a profec B spec II. I already made a remote button for it(wired). I just gotta figure out where I want to put it and get used to hitting it going into 3rd.
