I would love to see the dyno graphs, the only thing I would ask for is the specs of the setup. Non of the I don't believe it BS. I believe you guys are making big numbers (even as shown in the video below), I'm just trying to see what the secret is.

I need to get a passenger to hold the camera while I drive. Also I need to stop being lazy and hook up the Beltronix accelerometer and find a straight road.

That is pretty good power. Log manifold making decent numbers. But I made pretty similar numbers on my log manifold with a smaller turbo.

He's got a 60-1, which we made 421whp on 13psi up here with VVL on a tubular with a .63 housing. It has a big turbine, which I believe is the biggest factor to consider when using a log manifold. the 60-1 is good for nearly 100whp more on the same boost as my 30r.

In the posts for that video, RB even stated that the log was killing the power. Manny ran a similar size turbo and 2psi more boost, made 60whp more. Just food for thought.

I don't mean to be confrontational, really. But I see some numbers thrown around that just don't add up. My friend with an S2000 with full-race setup on a 35r made high 300s on 12-14psi. I don't see a log manifold making high 300s. But you guys are right, there are a lot of different things to consider.

He made peak power @ 7200 on stock VE cams. JWT ecu with a AFC on it. It's a old vid.

SR20VE+T on the Dyno - YouTube

That is more of what I expect on the setup. Notice how torque just keeps dropping. I'm using a much larger turbo, but see the same thing with the SR16 cams. They need a much larger turbo to breathe. 270whp abouts. And a big dip after 5k where I am guessing the VVL switched?

I remember seeing those videos years ago, actually was the first one to post asking questions about it. Not sure of the whole setup, but I am guessing those 1.6 cams made there way onto the 60-1 setup as well.

here's a link

This was on VET cams and 15psi (13psi sea level)

I broke link on purpose because of the STI pull on the freeway.

Do you remember what was the VVL engagement point?

Did a run with the Beltronics FX2 Accelerometer, a few forum members I know from Mexico use these since they don't have access to a 1/4 miles track. Reading reviews of it, they seem fairly accurate too, but as always take with a grain of salt.

First the specs of the car:
Car Weight: ~3250lbs (with driver and tools/turbo weight)
Cd: 0.30
CdA: 6.43 (this number encompasses frontal area and drag (Cd))

This was with a pretty bad launch and wheel hp as usual in first gear.
Approx WHP: 220 @ 61mph (which is around 7k RPM)
0-60: 6.38sec
1/8: 9.83sec / 75mph

I have never had luck getting the 1/4 mile times, simply because it's hard to do that without breaking the speed limit.
