As others have said you may have some sort of wastegate issue. Aply some compressed air (8-10 PSI) to the wastegate and check the function of the wastegate.

Just an fyi.

Pressure drop makes sense, there is a reason why I always hated using the line by the turbo. But on previous setups pressure drop would be more consistent, say I had a 9 psi wg, and I could only run 7 to redline, not quite jump up high then drop off. I'll try a different location though .

Nah I doubt it, this turbo is good for 500whp, and more then 20 psi. With that leak it probably was pushing around 20 psi.

Actually seeing how the car drives now, I think log might be just sufficient enough...

20V cams will be a great addition to my setup. I think the Sr16 cams are great, but really need a bigger turbo and more revs. 20V seem like just the ticket but I love the SR16 cams and they work great with the twin scroll. 10psi by 3500 or so right when the VVL kicks. That's all the boost I'm running for now

24* is a lot of timing. I wouldn't go past 22*, I've melted a few pistons in the past by running too much timing and boost. The VVL loves timing, but if any reversion is present then it may just be a bandaid.

The low lobes are similar. I actually made more power by just switching the intake cam by itself. The ex will seem to choke the engine.

hes at a low boost level so 24 is probably fine but if you plan on upping the boost any i would lower it between 19-21 up top to be safe. 10 psi is childs play on that turbo. Its not even in its efficiency range yet. lol.

X2, that turbo is still sleepig at 10psi, crank it to 15+psi, it will feel like a completely different turbo, lazyness will go away. 19-21 seemsabout right for timing.

Wonder what Jamie posted, I for the most part agree with ehatever he posts. Most of it is just common sense and from experience.
