Sounds like a nice setup DE.

One thing I can' figure out... Why is injector duty (740cc) well over 90%, Maf Voltage 4.96V, and only 480whp? I would figure 500whp but the dyno disagrees

Hope nothing blows when I cross 500whp. Just a thought.

Who else runs a Z32 maf and maxes it out?

Coheed could it be because of elevation?

NightStalker, that's some decent timing for 18 psi. I definitely can't run that much.

No, I think the engine is swallowing 500whp worth of air. But perhaps pumping losses are too high and VE starts to drop too fast on the top end from the backpressure building.

The torque drops more up top than with the 2.0 cams. The 1.6 have tons more overlap which could work awesome with some free-flowing exhaust. The 1.6 cams do work well, but they aren't being optimized yet. But check out this video.
SAM_0414.MP4 - YouTube

Rolling in 3rd gear, 4K and the thing comes alive and runs to 115mph. This was last summer around October running 26psi iirc.

I really am going to try grinding out the divider at the end of the volute and see what kind of power I can free up on the top end. If I can't break 500whp on 24psi or less, I am stepping up to a larger turbo. Something that won't run out of steam up here. But I think the 1.6 cams will react big time to the exhaust flow. Let's see if my "theory" is correct. Who knows.

What's up with the whistling in the video? I remember I had the same issue on my B14 right after I boosted it. Turned out I had a boost leak that was fine enough to cause it to whistle.

That's the turbo silly! Yeah, the 3076 sounds like a jet!

That's what I thought, but it takes it. Every time I up the timing, I always check for signs of detonation, and still have seen nothing. Surely I've got to be close to it with that amount of timing though. I'm sure the slightly lower CR helps.

Isn't the CR for VE's about 10:1? Or something close to that?

I love it. Especially when your out and someone tries to pull on you. Usually it's always the same "oh sh#!" look they have on their face when they hear it screaming by.

Something like this.....

Or this....

Oh I enjoyed my T25 too, then I either fixed one of the clamps or my boost gauge line was replaced and it stopped. Though the I bet the whistle would get annoying to my wife/passengers.

Edit found a video...

How do you check for detonation, via spark plugs?

VE's CR is 10.3:1, so it is a bit high and hence I am so scared to add too much.

Again if you do those pulls like i said shutting the engine off right away at high rpm (not gonna hurt anything btw) you can pull a plug and check, there will be blackish grey speckles all over the white insulation, possible speckle looking damage on the ground strap as well or deterioration of it. If you do a pull and the white insulation looks clean and same with the ground strap with maybe your normal sooty or brownish/tan look on them, your good
