Knock knock... who's there... Cylinder #3 is there waving at you from the hood .

There are a few things I should mention, and you will see why running "only" 7 degrees wont make a difference in where I need it. Stock knock sensor only monitors voltage up to 4800 rpm, I'm blind after that. If I was knocking at 4800 and have 0 timing, that means I have to be very careful at higher RPM's.

Another thing is, the last cell, aka 90 Load/6800 RPM does nothing to help mid range power, aka torque.

Timing had nothing to do on my friends car as it was a JWT ECU at 25 degrees, just changed to Tubular and larger A/R and it was just nuts after that, 4wd.

That lag is definitely because of that timing map.

Timing has everything to do with it.

At 25 degrees your friend will grenade that motor pretty fast.

Using Water Meth and A JWT GTIR Program which said to use 25 degree's, at 20 psi it pulls insane , no issues.

In bold, that makes a huge difference.

That 25 degrees is for timing the base timing with a timing light, right?

before ve head and Tubular

ve head and custom tubular manifold

That "25" degrees is just base timing.

That is not the actual peak value used in the map.
