Upgraded my turbo intake, found a great coupling for the job
After I upgraded my car with the GT2860rs, I was bummed to find that I could not fit a 3" intake because of the block being in the way. So I was running a reducer to a 2.5" setup which cleared. I grinded the block to fit the turbo, but I didn't want to grind any further. I realize there are other ways around this, plus some people say they have fit a 3" intake without issue. Needless to say, mine wouldnt fit. I finally found an offset 3" coupling that clears the block perfectly. It is sold by Agency Power for Subaru's that have an upgraded turbo. Since I had the 3" piping sitting around forever, plus my turbo and maf were both 3", it was time for an upgrade. I thought this might help out people with the same issue. Here are the pics.

Nice that is slick. A friend showed me that if you shave a slight angle in the manifold flange before you bolt it to the turbo it actually kicks it away from the block nearly enough that you don't have to do any grinding and can use a straight coupler.

Sorry to be the smartass that asks but what is so bad about the straight coupler?
