That's really cold for the top of the radiator. o_O

Edit: I see we've been over this already. Still seems ridiculously low no matter how you look at it. Tool might need calibration?

Check it on a glass of ice water. It should be right at 32* Then check it on some boiling water. Should be 212*

Something I should mention, I checked the temps towards the end of the radiator and fans where running. If I check the temps by the entrance then they should be higher.

Now get the temps on the inside of those pipes and you will have something. Those are good for estimates but the temps inside those steel pipe are going to be way off.

Agreed, but I don't have a way to measure it. But this way I can see how bad the heat soak is.

im glad you took pics of that. i wanna do the same with my car... its on e85. then i need to rewrap my new dp with heat wrap and put my turbo blanket on and see the diff.

That's the idea, turbo blanket and exhaust wrap on the way here too.
