I've checked online, and found a few, actually. The only thing, is checking the history of the online vendor out, prior to just sending them money. (That, and I want my refund from Stillen, first.)

Great bit of information guys. It looks as though replacement head studs, for the TIME SERT, would have to be specially designed for the cold-rolled thread locks, to be worth a damn, or they would "bottom out", (or NOT)?

Might be time to invest in a deadly accurate torque wrench, after going to all that trouble, too.
I've been reading a lot about torque failure, related to poorly standardized tools, which cannot be certified, or re-calibrated, to the degree required for fine work like this.

We have a ton of calibrated ( often ) snap on torque wrenches at work , that are at my disposal when the time comes ....

Keo,

ARP is currently re-designing their head stud kit, but It's not known when to expect them to be sold. Personally, I have a feeling that they're not going to purge the market of their old headstuds. So chances are, even after they push the new design to the street, you could very well end up ordering and getting the older design.

I hope I'm wrong, though.

I would go the 1/2" headstud route, but to me that's a little more time consuming, especially when I need to wait on the shop to drill/tap the block, and bore out the head to accomodate the larger diameter stud.

True, but mine needs to get bored out and stuff. turn around time is about 3 weeks, that's okay with me.

Where would be a good place to look for the 1/2" diameter head studs? I may have to go this route, if all else fails. If I can compare the cost to having larger studs inserted, compared to GReddy, HKS or Tomei headstuds, and find it to be more cost effective, I may go this route, as well.
