Great bit of information guys. It looks as though replacement head studs, for the TIME SERT, would have to be specially designed for the cold-rolled thread locks, to be worth a damn, or they would "bottom out", (or NOT)?
Might be time to invest in a deadly accurate torque wrench, after going to all that trouble, too.
I've been reading a lot about torque failure, related to poorly standardized tools, which cannot be certified, or re-calibrated, to the degree required for fine work like this.
