Thread: Headstud comparison

Cosworths are backordered at Stillen, at the moment. I ordered them, but the guy said they wouldn't take delivery for a few weeks. I need to call them sometime this next week and see if they processed my order or not.

take pics when you get them so we can have some hard evidence that the design is good.

Of course. I'll compare them with the ARP's that are on the block (that is missing in transit somewhere), and the stock head studs.

the cosworth is what $200 and the arp is about $100. is it worth it?? hell yeah!!

Yeah, came out to $220 shipped, IIRC.

Lance u can use a ve block with a DET head... just do the bigger studs and u will have a nasty block. Well enless Rod figures out that he should just buy it for his set up.

Are u going to get a bigger turbo set up if u do got with bigger studs? If so check out the HTA35R.

Unfortunately, Cosworth is re-designing their head studs, "to be better than the previous design".

I cancelled the order. They said it'd be another 4 to 6 months.

To bad I just sold my Greddy headstuds bc you could have bought them.

Looks like I'm going to have to wait on my refund from Stillen, and start shopping again.

so AEBS is not around anymore.....cosworth on hold....Tomei headstuds are $500, does anybody know of a distributor that sells greddy headstuds????? This sucks I need some studs that will up to 30+ lbs of boost!!!!
