looking for 450whp on stock sr20det...
It's been a while since I've been in the sr20 scene; now I may be looking to go back. Currently selling my turboed s2000 (long story) and looking to pick up a sentra or 200sx to turbo. I'd like to reach about 450whp without touching the piston or rods by getting a failsafe water/meth injection (might even drill the intake manny for individual injection) and just a jwt ecu with SAFC to lean the AFRs a bit or calum ecu realtime. Here is what i was thinking and let me know if this will reach my goal.

Stock sr20det
GT3076r T3 flange 0.82 a/r housing
740cc injectors
Z32 MAF
JWT S4 cams
Coolingmist CMG water/meth injection 50/50 mix
Equal length tubular exhaust manifold
Knock Lite
JWT ECU with SAFC or Calum Realtime ecu

Now, since I've been out of the sr20 scene for couple years, does anyone know where i can get a good equal length exhaust manifold?

I personally wouldnt do it on a stock det. Id do pistons , hg, head studs. No sense in throwing all this money at stock motor.

Stratton.

I'm still working on getting my W11 into my B13 but the first thing I've learned about turbo's is, if you want to make sense money wise, stay NA.

Sometime I'll have to post about the overkill on my DET head.

Making 450 WHP on a stock DET is not problem. The DET bottom end will handle the WHP, with its lower compression pistons, oil squirters and beefier rods.

Just make sure that you get a 300ZX TT MAF ( max readable WHP 550 ) and Nismo-HKS-Tomei 740cc injs ( 520 WHP) . If you pick the right turbo (GT35R) and cams (JWT S4) this can be had at 20-22 PSI.

Make sure to keep things safe with the gas and boost. 15 PSI and below run 93 octane, 15-22 PSI add a little higher octane for a mixture of 98 octane to the knck down.

Follow the guidles above and you will have no problem.

im looking to install individual water injection into each runner and boost 20-22 psi. I think this should take care of knock no? can you use an adjustable FPR to lean the afr when using the jwt ecu, or do i need to get an safc? i'd like to stay away from paying someone to dyno tune it if possible.

i guess i wasted my time doing it on a stock de lol

proper tuning and it will hold esp with a proper meth injection system

i will, my pistons and rods have been collecting dust for 3 years i wouldnt waste my time putting forged internals in anything that says de or det on it they are for my ve motor.

des/det are way to common and cheap to worry about blowing them up

when your done with your tune are u going to take a shot at my stock motor

Agreed.... If not as stated before, its not too expensive to get another engine if something goes wrong. With water/meth it shouldn't be an issue. I would however go with a little bigger turbo.
