bolts on turbo
Hey I can not get this one bolt on the turbo to stay in place. Its the one bolt on the compression side closest to the engine. I've taken the compression side off witch gave me some more room to work with and I got the bolt as tight as possible and the next day it lose. Any sugestions on getting the bolt to stay in place.

check the thread on the bolt and the housing. usually the case is that the bolt was cross threaded. see if you could replace the bolt with a new one.

as stated check the threads on the compressor housing. They are very easy to strip due to the hardware being ss and the compressor housing being made of aluminum. If the threads are still there clean them with a tap and use rtv or loctite on the bolt when you put the housing back on. if the threads are done just re-tap the hole for the next size up.
