1200cc injectors,which brand?
Hi guys,
I am in the market for a set of 1200 cc injectors for my stroked 2260cc gt35 gtir.
I run an Haltech ecu, so high or low impedance are ok.
Also use a large fuel system with 2 x 044 external pumps.
The choice is between RC, Precision Turbo and the new Bosch style EV14 supplied by five o motorsport.
Do.t want to consider injector dynamics as too expensive.
Apparently the bosch style injectors are really good but are the ones supplied by five o good?
Don t want to kill my engine because of poor injectors.
Rc and precision are well proven, with precision prolly being a little better.
Any suggestion? Experience?
Thanks

ID are too expensive and they do not have 1200cc.
Five o sells the same base injector as the ID for 360$.
Precision are the cheapest at 300$.

why not run 1000's with a little more rail pressure? Your fuel setup should handle it with ease

Yes fuel system should handle it quite well, but the question remains as ID are not in my shopping list, too expensive.

RC1000s would be my recommendation from the brands listed since I haven't tried the others. They list a max pressure of 100psi so if you up your base pressure as mentioned above...you should be able to max out the GT35R w/ gas. Probably will have to run 65-70 psi rail pressure.

ID injectors are nice though. I'm using them next time around. If you can save up for them, it would be worth it. I believe you can input the ID injector dead time data into the Haltech which should make tuning easier.
