Thread: 3" Exhaust

If anyone has had a local shop fab up a 3" exhaust how was your experience and what was the cost? I am considering this as an alternative to ordering an exhaust and am intrested in opinions and experiences.

It would probably be cheaper to buy a VRS piping kit and have a shop weld it together for you

$50 LOL I supplied the turbo flange, they supplied piping and welded it up.

I don't have the best pics, but it's from turbo back. Oh, also welded on bung for wideband (included in $50).

That sounds like you got a deal for $50, I went to Summit racing and bought just enough pipe for a straight pipe, side exit exhaust, just from the oil pan back ( I had the pipe to the oil pan already) and that was like $100.

...or is that your whole exhaust in the pic?

That's the whole exhaust.
