Where do you guys mount your EBC?
Just wiring up and configuring my Greddy Profec B and wondering hmmm
Where do you guys mount your boost controllers? The solenoid part that goes
under the hood not the controller.

I moved my radio down to the bottom and then mounted my boost controller
and turbo timer above the radio right below the heater controller and made a
small filler piece.

But where do you guys mount the solenoid box under the hood?

I cant figure out the best spot for it so I figure why not ask you guys.

Also anyone feel like verifying my VAC Hose config? ( Turbo Newb ) learning every day.

Thanks again guys! Hopefully this will help any other newbs looking to learn a thing or two.

Read this http://www.sr20-forum.com/turbo/16477-basics-boost-control-wastegates-how-turn-up-boost.html it might be of some help to you. I am runing the Greddy Profec Spec 2 and I'm running a gtir externally wastegated so it's hard to tell you exactly when you run your lines. You can mount the box on the firewall near the driver side or if you have relocated your battery to the trunk mount it where your battery was.

You want it as close as possible to the wastegate vacuum port.

So tap pipe right off compressor housing to to the IN port and then connect the out to the wastegate nipple and mount close to where the battery is?

It's been a while since my avenier T25 setup but all of your figures look good. I personally ran my FPR vacuum line alone without any T's.

I am unsure of what you mean by tap right off compressor housing. (Do you mean wastegate to the in port?)

If you already have it tapped or can easily do it then that WOULD be best, however, I run my EBC off the main source of the W10 listed as 'goes to boost controller' in your linked diagram. I have had no issues w/it there. This is also where my boost gauge gets a reading. I have this 'T'd off.

Yes, boost solenoid goes inside the engine bay. I mounted mine north of battery, but I have a 200sx which may be different layout. There's a clear spot for it.

Cool post a pic if you have one, I ran the wire to the passenger side but now it looks like the vaccum hoses will be way too long over there, Will re-run to pass side.

Would it be best to tap my stock compressor outlet like the ATP and just split the hose between here and the wastegate or put the nipple more upstream like the stock one?

^^^ Yep that is the best place to tap, closer to the compressor wheel the better the wastegate can regulate boost quicker. Ya ATP has a bunch of great things.
