Thread: BC cams instal

Hey guys. I just want to clarify something. Someone told me that 264 duration cams are way too much for a stock head on a det motor. I have a w10 motor. I know he knows a lot about 240s with SRs, but arent they the same and andreas recommends even s4 cams which have a slightly high duration and lift and aren't the heads ok for that duration? I just want to know cause I don't want to install the cams and end up with a blown motor later down.

I have been using the BC stage 2 cams for over a year now, on stock valve train, revving to 7700 RPM almost daily and the engine still goes. 207k miles. Over 10,000 with the cams. Daily driven.
