wont those need ignitors?

the ignitors are built in. when you wire up an sr, you remove the sr ignitor and wire over it.

why 4? we only have one coil

^one coil per cylinder. Allows the coils to get the full amount of dwell time and give a full powered spark in the higher rpms.

oh and bypass the stock coil and ignitor so the dizzy's low voltage output triggers the lsx coils

I'm not sure how or even if that setup could work without standalone. I was just explaining the benefits or running one coil per cylinder.

haha okay makes sence what you are trying to stay. I understood to run LSX coils instead of MSD on a nissan ecu

LSX Coils may be able to work with a sr20det rwd ecu. I am not sure what type of signal the LSX Coil takes to fire the spark though. gotta look at their wiring diagram

Note: If your comfortable with wiring and repining you can use a rwd ecu on your fwd setup, which then allows you to use coil packs but, you would need to setup a manual cooling system option (like those derale fan controllers) as the rwd ecu doesnt manage electric fans

I would like an answer on this one also...

im running a jwt ecu which is nothing special, really. you just wire the wires back together for the ignitor and make a subharness from the coil pack harness to wire in the coils.
