Make sure you re-read that auction, Its some no-name ebay brand BOTH of them.. I would go with a reputable clutch..

Both brands are confusing names trying to confuse off of established brands.

XTD - Exedy : EXEDY Globalparts Corporation
eClutchmaster - Clutchmasters : Clutchmasters.com - High Performance Clutches and Flywheels

Neither are the original brands, That being said I would go with either ACT /JWT /Clutchmasters / Excedy etc an established company.

Do it once do it right.

There´s no definitive answer it seems... it´s a gamble... but there´s more chances going wrong with the ripoffs...

So all of the trouble seem to be with the discs, loose springs and slippage... what about the pressure plates? Any problem associated with them?

Ripoff heavy duty PP+brand name disc? what do you reckon?

Get a Clutchmasters, the real one and you won't be disappointed. I have also had good luck with ACT but I have seen a few people who did not. They are both very good choices, I'm sure someone has had an issue with Clutchmasters but I haven't personally heard of anyone yet. You are not looking to make crazy power either so I would get a full faced disk, not a puck.

I have run clutchmasters, act and jwt clutches. never had any of them fail. I ran the cm and jwt setups on n/a motors ranging from 150whp to 200whp. I have only run act on my turbo cars. I have a act for my vet setup and if it can not hold the power the car will make I will switch over to a cm stg 5 setup. Don't buy a cheap clutch or you will be doing things twice.

ok, I've Used BOTH.. XTD in all of the Honda's i've owned. Clutchmaster ALSO my Current Turbo'd Integra. Here we go, i hope this helps..

1. XTD's clutch Disc and Flywheels are AWESOME!! Almost as good as ACT clutch products. The Pressure plates that XTD's Sell are about the same if not less Clamping force of STOCK Pressure Plates, which make them NO GOOD!!! I'm sure its the same with Eclutchmaster, same chinese brand. I'm currently running a 6 puck Sprung disc on my sr20ve w/ their 12lb flywheel. No problems yet. I've also ran the Complete Clutch kit from XTD on several Other Honda's Lasting me YEARS. But if you were going this route, i would suggest buying an ACT Pressure Plate, and DO NOT go with Any XTD or eclutchmaster or any other "Chinese" brand clutch plate.

2. Clutchmaster is a well known Competition Race Clutch Brand. I'm currently running their stage 3 in my turbo integra which holds Beautifully @ 311whp w/ 10psi of boost.. No problems there..

Hopefully this helps you out with your decision.
