advice on head choice
hey need some advice am in the process of building my gti-r motor but would like to find out what head would give me the better gains a stock vvl head or my gti-r head fully port & polish with bc springs & retainers , bc 1mm oversize valves and jimwolf s3m cams and jimwolf adjustable gears get back to me let me know thanks

I would go VVL. Allows to rev higher with more availability of parts. GTiR is old tech.

a standard sr20ve cylinder head will out perform a fully worked sr20det cylinder head

the vvl head is that good instock form wow so if u did work to the vvl head its going to be super

Yes, a lightly worked over VE head should flow over 300cfm pretty easily.

The Pulsar head is the best flowing DET head but I believe the VVL head flows better. I switched from a stock Pulsar head to a stock VVL head and I noticed a difference.
