After O2 sensor warms up, but generally at idle it's at open loop, Decelerating and heavier accelerating is all open loop.

Will cts throw a code?

it is for sure either the ecu map. (unless its a stock ecu) not having enough cold fuel enrichment or a sensor thats out of range. when its cold it will run off of ect, tps, maf/intake air. once it warms up it will run off those plus o2 feed back. like someone said before it sounds to me like a lean condition.

Its a jwt ecu, used calum still did this stuff as far as backfiring. Might be timing but ive had this cold styddering issue forever. Just weird when warm runs perfect

because its using the o2 feed back then. it cant when its cold though it has to wait for the o2 to warm up first. once it can see the o2 reading it adjusts accordingly

CTS is supposed to throw a code but, I have had sensors go out and not throw codes. I think they are like $20 from GregV's site.

I would bet something is going with your wires to you MAF or you have a some leaks after your MAF maybe the intake manifold.

id check/replace the cts as well
if thats fine, maybe a valve not sealing?

I think you were on the right path before. The car runs better when the third sensor reads a signal. So the problem is with one of the first two sensors.

I think he has an swapped the MAF and has changed the wires around so maybe there is a loose splice or bad ground or mixed up wire something like that. Or just leaks that throw the MAF off

But thats how 02 sensors work so it cant be that

So techniqually if its the maf i should be able to unplug and itd stop because its not reading. So i can rule that out easily. Cts is a pain to change on highports so thats last haha
