Ya make sure you have that rubber boot under the shifter. I didn't get one with my shifter assembly and it makes a horrible draft. the new rubber boot is only $12 at the dealer iirc.

I like that you actually used the metal plate on the underside where the cables came through. I didn't do that either, I used a different method. It works.

Good luck with the transmission swap. The HLSD grips so hard.
