Thread: sr20ve head on gti-r block?

i am in the middle of my gti-r engine build and got to thinking i may like to have a ve gtir does anyone have any info on if it will work and if it will what mods would i have to do to make it work
p.s. willing to trade complete gti-r head with intake manifold for complete ve top end if i decide to go this route

i'm think it's been done, and i've looked into the ve head on a 54c block

afaik, it's just the head needs machining to take the larger headbolts and dowels, nothing too major - and obviously the external oil feed tapping into the head for the solenoids

Search man, there was a thread about this not even a couple weeks ago and that wasnt the first time either.

i wasnt there when that manifold was being installed , taking it out soon , cant wait to observe
