Real quick: the TD-04 is a bitch for an SR, compared to even the t25. The SR breathes differently than a boxer 2.0. I wouldn't waste my time. It's like putting a t25 on my wrx. Just doesn't make sense

Its very different than the SR20 for sure. I've got the TD-04 on mine and with the 2.5l it runs out of breath above like ~5.0-5.5krpm. The VF39s and whatnot are much better if you are gonna rev the SR out above 7k. I think that its a good idea if you can make it happen easier though because the TD-04 is like $50 on sub forums so if that helps you out then go for it.

I was looking at a vf for mine but like i said my buddie went all ricer with his sti and traded his extra turbo for a louder bov...i was VERY impressed with the turbo itself...i gotta look into the godspeed turbo he has and see if it`s worth getting off him(before he trades it for a fmic....LOL)

Yea, ok... that´s the kind of answer i was looking for, it seems it´s way too small for what i want or to even bother, but could work... if i want low down power with an asmatic top end...
I only tought of that basically because i can get 4 for the price of a T25 or t28...
I´m studying this real hard... right now the td04hl-18t an 19t seem a very good option, and are readilly available whre i live... but the Mitsi turbos have a strange numenclature, so it´s kind of hard to compare to the garrett´s...
This 18t and 19t turbos have really good reviews and 300bhp power rating with good spool and are available in the V/S70r and S80 T5 Volvos

The 15t I used spooled just a little past idle. Started to spool around 2000-2200 RPM. Hit full boost around 4500-4700. Made for real quick acceleration, but not much on top end at all.
