Thread: New setup and build....Updated 5/25/12...723whp!!!!!!

Ashton's got thick skin, and thanks to everyone who's ever doubted him, givin him shit, ruffled his feathers, or even praised him, he was able to build this monster. He never gave up, or got shitty with anyone, he kept sayin he was going to do this and he did. Big props! He's got alot of followers now, and alot of guys in his corner rooting him on. keep it up ashton!

Nice build Ashton, there's only a few people on here willing to take risks and try shit that hasn't been done before...congrats. I'm looking forward to seeing the car in person and getting my ass spanked when I line up with you.

I don't think anyone ever doubted him... He has the drive so that is a big plus. Many of us would have done things different... It works for him and it all worked out. The car has to be a bullet.

Just took it out for the first drive and gave some friends a ride. 5th gear on drag radials doesnt stand a chance. Absolutely just blows the tires away after 6500 rpm. Speedo onto the peg just lighting up both tires. The ride was absolutely insane. Tried out the no lift shift a couple times from 2nd to 3rd and 3rd to 4th. Works flawlessly and hit the gears quick and hard on the radials and not a problem.
