What's the story Ashton?

its a better trigger than the dizzy, even when the AEM cas wheel has been installed...even though it is not 100% because it will still have a slight timing offset under high RPM and heavy loads due to some chain stretch and slack and just the force exerted on the tensioner, the best way would be to put a trigger wheel on the crank pulley

I went with the hall sensor as it gives a more direct digital ignition signal instead of the crappy analog signal from the distro. The big Honda guys all use them. The chain will not have much slack or stretch on the exhaust side. Its mainly for the better signal to keep a stable accurate ignition trigger. 10k rpm I wanted to have the best.

I can understand making sure you get the best compatibility with your ECU as possible. FYI your HALL setup is analog. The Nissan optical sensor produces a proper square-wave (digital) that emulates a HALL sensor, except better in every way from an engineering stand-point. But whatever... =/

it might be better from an engineering stand point but lets face it 20 year old dizzy just worries me. i have actually seen at least one motor go because the optical sensor was acting up and was doing fun stuff with the timing. also the Maz setup looks a lot cleaner once you go COP than a silly dizzy setup any way

Another main reason I went this route. So clean and how many cars these days use distributors. Few if any.

I do, i am currently running a dizzy, at higher RPM it wont be 100% correct when it comes to timing...it will change, might not be much but it will vary a little, not as much as a belt though

Lovin the color choice of vc and housing, hoping to see this thing run at the convention. Thats if I make it.
