Well the turbo finally came in today.

Also have some changes in mind as well.

Gonna go with the brand new Crower Billet I-Beam 1500hp rods offered through Greg at Gspec. A little more expensive than the Manley Turbo Tuff rods but worth every penny.

Also going to ditch the distributor and go with the Mazworx SR20VE Hall Sensor kit. Makes for a much much more accurate trigger for the cam/crank signal and cleans up the bay very very nicely. Info about it and pics can be seen here.

My block is almost done and ill take pics of it and the parts when they get in. Car is going to get the cage done beginning of February then after that its just a couple more parts and ill have everything ready to go basicly for assembly.

Bloody big it is!! I'm guessing this hair dryer wouldn't of come close to fitting your B13 if you hadn't modded the rad support??

not necessarily. All depends on placement of the manifold flange. The way mine is it might actually clear both the head and where the radiator support was. We will see but yeah its pretty big.

Nice ashton. I am curious to see how the mazworx kit works out. I know the aem cas makes me want to pull my hair out.

Yeah apparently it works pretty well. It seems like the AEM is sensitive to analog crank and cam signals that the stock distributor makes especially when using high ouput ignitions that creat alot of EMI. Its very easy for it to interpret an EMI signal as a crank signal at high rpms that and the analog signal is not as stable as the digital signal created by the hall sensor. The honda guys have very very good success with the T1 Cam Trigger and everyone uses it with any type of aftermarket EMS. So should work out very very well and give me a peace of mind. The 24-1 disk once set up right still had a pretty stable signal and didnt see any issues with it but with the extra revs i would rather be safe than sorry.

Still gonna topmount it and that is a huge gate. Precision 60mm im guessing? I plan to make more than 15 lbs of boost here Dave. hahaha. Id have to put Co2 on top of the gate with that monster. Ill see how the 38mm gate does. Gotta remember this turbo is gonna require alot more exhaust gasses to make boost anyways so not gonna have to get rid of alot. If it presents a problem of creeping to high making traction impossible then ill add another 38mm gate on as well. Ill see when we do the first WOT pull on the dyno with the wastegate solenoid deactivated and see how the boost curve on this is with the 38mm gate w/ 1bar spring.
