Decided to switch up my turbo choice to the new Borg Warner S400SX 67mm billet turbo. By far the largest 67mm turbo available on the market and has great reviews. Known to make in the 950-1000whp range at 37-40psi depending on setup. This turbo should give me the powerband im looking for and definitely reach my power goals. Went with the 1.10 T4 divided housing. Ill be running it on my open scroll manifold which has been done and tested and only a slight loss of spool roughly 2-300 rpm slower spool time but still makes the same power overall. Fun stuff.

Just for size comparison, here is the turbo compared to a stock srt4 turbo.

Yeah im going to be dropping my flange down 3" since i need to get to the wider part of the collector anyways for the t4 flange and angle it away from the head a bit. My T67 h.o. was touching the top of my hood and had about an inch and a half clearance to the head. This one would be sticking out by about an inch or two if i didnt move my flange down and more than likely touch the head. So a 3" drop and angle it away from the head a bit. But yeah it will fit. My manifold flange placement is in an ideal spot for it just need to lower it. But yeah this thing has a huge compressor housing. 5" race cover inlet, 3" outlet, 82mm turbine wheel, 5" vband turbine outlet.

So you are going to use a divided housing on a manifold that is oPen. Hopefully you get better results then me. That wall is going to create chaos in there. Maybe others have had better results.

There is a lot of honda guys that have done this with open manifolds on divided housings and they saw a decrease of about 300 rpm spool time but made roughly the same power. My plan is to use a divided T4 flange and thin the divider on the collector side so that it makes for a smoother transition instead of hitting that divider like a wall.

Dont know if you used a T3 divided but this large T4 divided seems to do pretty well even with an open manifold. But working the divider on the flange itself should greatly improve flow through it.
