^I guess most people missed these post? It's just a temp fix. Everybody wants to see this car at the convention, so he is doing what he can to make that happen.

Either way, I am keeping my eye on this

Asthon, do you have a go-pro (or equivalent) on hand by any chance to do some recording??

I was wondering the same thing. WTF is it doing after the turbo? #3 or #4 runner as close to the head as possible is the correct placement.

As for the EGT gauge ive seen then on the runner and on the downpipe as close to the turbine as possible. When running one EGT the best placement is right in the collector. This coming from big name guys btw. You can also run it in the downpipe again as close to the turbine as possible. The temp from the runner to the exit of the turbine isnt going to change that much. Not enough to make a difference. When something is wrong your going to see those high temps build quick even close to the turbine housing. Again not something im concerned about.

My flange came in, ive mocked up my cold side charge pipe and heading right now to get the stuff welded and I can finish it up. Still waiting on a water neck as well but I should be able to fire up the motor real quick to make sure everything is good.

I thought you would be using EGTs for tuning.
If you're just using them for some sort of warning system, then okay whatever.
