Thanks man, i cant wait to fit it on there and see how well it performs. I decided to go without the IAC valve and just use the throttle body adjustment to control idle. Again its a race car and with the low lobes on the cams it should still idle very well just using the TB. Also get to eliminate 4 more wires on the harness when i redo the harness.

Im really debating whether to find some MIL spec harness connectors and redo the harness shortening up all the wires that i left way too long and get rid of the bundle on the back of the motor. Either way its all getting shortened and recovered with the same flex loom that i used.

Looks crazy. That would look amazing next to a giant A2W setup.*

Looks good bro, why you using side feed injectors? Injector dynamics are the way to go imo. Good luck.

Im not using sidefeed injectors. The mani is set up to use a honda b-series topfeed fuel rail. Im using my Injector Dynamics ID1000's that ive been using.

How much for the intake mani?

I got it done for $850, i provided the intake manifold flange. Again i opted not to use the IACV but that wouldnt be any extra to weld on a plate on the bottom to use a VE IACV. You would have to provide him with one. And if you want it to use a VE fuel rail then same thing. I didnt have one so i opted to have him set it up to use a B-series fuel rail instead which was fine with me.

i would of put the injector closer to the cylinder head
u want to try and get the injector aiming so its spraying onto the back of the valve instead of onto the walls of the runners or intake ports

a mate of mine works over at HYPERTUNE Hypertune - Performance Engineering
they specialize in those sexy billet plenum cambers im sure u guys have seen them B4
he made such an improvement on the standard sr20 inlet manifold

put the injectors on a flow bench and have a look at the spray pattern

Does anyone else use Injector Dynamics injectors in a standard manifold? When i got my car tuned he said the injector setup wasn't ideal. Like at low air speed the fuel is running down the inside of the runners maybe, or maybe a voltage problem. Still have to do some testing. I put my injectors on a flow bench and looked at the spray pattern, then looked at the inside of the stock mani and imagined the spray pattern. Far from ideal!

I.D injectors have a very wide spray pattern which is why they should be mounted so that the injectors are as close to the cylinder head and angled so its spraying over the valve instead of on the inlet runners

he proved his theory was spot on when he started the car and took it for a test drive
it wasnt even retuned with the new injector setup and he has already noticed a major improvement and its not even tuned yet so its only going to get better

Nice, on their b-series manifold they used to have the injector boss really close to the head and built into the manifold flange but it was costing the company money because the flanges were soo expensive to keep making. Let alone the original design took a lot of time. So to save costs they started putting them back onto the runners just before the flange and as far as performance testing goes there hasnt been any noticable change or difference in power. So I dont think it affects the performance too much. When your under boost the fuel is gonna be pushed in anyways. You might get a better mixture with it aimed at the valves but cant be that much different.

Thats a nice improvement over the stock one for sure. Clean setup for sure. Again the company i had make the manifold is one of the highest rated and ranked manifold fab guys out there besides some big companies like the kinsler manifold. Which is a tank of a manifold. But as far as custom made goes James knows his stuff. Their manifolds made more power than almost any other manifold out there besides the kinsler.
