So far I pushed my eagles to 640hp and was hoping to get at least 750hp out of them. I cant say anything bad about them. Best bang for your buck when it comes to rods.

just read through the updates and damners. I see you mentioning your goals can be achieved but im wondering, just what numbers are you wanting? If you dont want them public and feel comfortable sharing, PM me. This seems like no mans land in the FWD side of SR20s. Also.. are you staying with 2 liters? I noticed you stated you are using 86mm pistons and an 8cw crank. just checking. This will be real interesting to see how it turns out.

Im wanting to make at least 800whp with the ability to go 900+ if i need/want to. The goal is to be able to click off consistent 9 second passes once the car is dialed in (as difficult as that really is and has proven to be especially in our community) and trap consistently 150+ mph

If i make the power im looking for the 9 second pass will come fairly easily after some seat time and dialing in of the slick pressure, boost by gear, launch settings, and suspension settings. I know this is untreaded territory for almost every fwd SR owner out there. I have my goals and Im going to do everything I can to reach them.

The ultimate one is to get the car into import competitions such as IFO in the FWD category and be competitive. The car will eventually get there.

It is very possible. He has the perfect combination to make it happen. Just because it's not a regular thing doesn't mean it can't happen. I'm sure people thought those other FWD cars that are making crazy power would never do it. You just have to make up your mind and stick to your plans. I know guys that made over 900hp with 2.0 evos street cars that never thought they would make that kind of power.

Very true, I know several 2.0 700+awhp and a couple 900awhp street evos in houston alone.

Its very capable with the right combination of parts.

My boy Jorge does all the tuning on this car and his both 2.0 making over 900hp. Both on a T3 flanged turbo.

Biggest thing the evo guys are realizing is that the 2.3L stroker setups are not very good for drag racing or making serious power. Most are going back to 2.0L motors and reving them to the moon. We can thank the Honda boys for that. hahaha. Thats why im taking this route of going with a very large turbo that flows very well on the turbine side so that I can shift my powerband higher but yet make overall way more power.

If you cant beat them, learn from them at least.
