Motor was completely seized. Yet the pauter rods were unscathed. They are in my new engine to this day. Strong as hell. They didn't bend, or warp at all. Just incredible.

Good to see progress Ash.

Which pauter rods are these?? Model # etc.....

Couldn't tell you to be honest. I ordered them like 5 years ago. They are rated conservatively at 200hp/rod, but they claim you can go up to 300 without issues.

Yeah Pauters are like what 800 bucks or more. I think the ones that coheed got were the 1100 rods.

This is very dissappointing news man I used to think Eagle were the sh*t but I'm starting to realize that they are'nt. Hey ashton what's a good set of rods that's not overly expensive to support up to say 600whp??

Eagles

Eagles can support up to 600whp easily without a problem. I know I pushed my Eagles past 600, more like 650whp range and they are perfectly fine and never had a problem with them.

Again for my build there is no way I was going to push Eagles that far although ive heard of honda guys pushing Eagles to 800whp without problems and I wouldnt doubt that but I dont know how long they would last at those levels.

600 would be plenty safe for Eagles. The eagles are rated conservatively at 150hp/rod

Just because the Eagles are cheap doesnt mean they are weak. The Pauter H-beams are like 750 bucks but made from the same material and manufacturing process. I think the Pauters have some heat treatment done to them though. Other than that, they are basicly the exact same rods with almost equal strength. So why pay double for them when the Eagles are proven.

Eagles are by far the best rod for the money out there if your looking for something sub 700whp.
