I plan on doing some type of retirement/investments later down the road. As far as right now, im over here to not just pay off the little bit of debt we have but to have a good fair amount in savings, fix up the house and basicly put myself financially that would have taken 3 years to do. We might decide to do something with some of that savings as far as putting it away in investments or retirement or something later. Thats something me and the wifey are gonna discuss once im done over here.

If all works out like i want, i am doing the year over here, maybe take 6 months off from overseas and work stateside for this company and then come back for another 6 months as an FSR or something along those lines and get paid almost twice. So 6 months would almost equal a year almost. That money will go to saving and investment as well. We do have a plan and its happening as we speak. Im enjoying my time over here and loving the money. Miss the family dearly but I know and my wife knows in the end its gonna be worth it and already is worth it.

That's great man. You can't really invest in your retirement later. Time value of money etc... I don't mean to hassle you though man.

When I found out my daughter was being born the SE-R went on sale. Then I sold the Civic so I would have no car payment. For me 15% comes off the top from every paycheck no exceptions.

Maybe think about running what you already built for awhile that's all.

Well this is the final build for a while man. If something major happens to this build within a year after completeing it ill probably just part it out to get a sleeved block done and do a 2.2L high compression all motor VE and put full interior back into the car and drive that around so that its reliable and still fun. But im going to have the help of someone who professionally tunes aems to give me a hand and double check my tune and work and assist in making some changes and also get some other options setup on it. So I dont think reliability for the motor will be an issue after that. Other little things will probably go wrong but thats expected. We have always lived pretty comfortably and always made good money for the last 5 years. I dont see that going anywhere soon. But definitely within the next year I will be starting up a retirement and/or putting money into investments. Its still something me and the wifey gotta sit down and discuss later on.

Hey ashton, if you're looking to get away from the weldon, check into a fuelab. Since you've already had some bad carma with weldon.

Ive heard good things about fuel lab products but im gonna stick with the weldon now that I know I have the correct one and know how it should be adjusted and functioning. I couldnt find anything online about the weldon afpr that I had and how the adjustment is supposed to be. So now I know and all should be good with the new one that I got.

A small update. Here are some pics of my BMC race manifold in progress. It should be completed in a day or so. All thats left is the plenum and throttle body flange which will be for a q45 tb. The manifold is set up for a B-series fuel rail so ill be using the high flow Golden Eagle rail. The manifold is fully ported out and smooth. Not a sign of any weld lines or anything. Now thats some good stuff. A stage 3 large plenum is going on and will clear the firewall just fine. Here are some pics.

More pics in the next day or so for sure. Got a hell of a deal on it too. Thanks to James at BMC Race. You are awesome. Soo quick on the process and always quick on the answers to questions and best quality and customer service.

Here is the finished product. Came out really really nice. Should make really good power too on the vvl head. The tallest part of the manifold is just at 10" from the head so should clear the firewall just fine and the throttle body angled forward a bit and the positioning of it should clear the master cylinder just fine as well just like my old manifold on the de head.
